Cottony <br />Division Director <br />Natu21 Resource Trustee <br />Listed below are adequacy review comments for the proposed BLM West Gravel Pit, Permit Application No. M-2006- <br />060. The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) is required to make an approval or denial decision no <br />later than October 30, 2006, therefore, your response to the following adequacy review concerns should be submitted to <br />the Division as soon as possible. <br />Rule 6.2,1(2)(6) -Maps and Exhibits <br />1. Tn accordance with this rule, maps, with the exception of the index map, must be prepared and signed by a registered <br />]and surveyor, professional engineer, or other qualified person. Please resubmit signed copies of Exhibit C, Pre- <br />Mining and Mining Maps, and Exhibit F, Reclamation Map. <br />Rule 6.4.3 Exhibit C -Pre-Mining and Minine Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands <br />2. In accordance with Rule 6.4.3(6), please modify Exhibit C, Mining Map, to show the locations of JCR 5 and the <br />power transmission line that runs parallel with the southeast permit boundary. In addition, the topographic lines on <br />this map do not appear to match the lines shown on the Pre-Mining Map. Please verify and correct, if necessary, the <br />topographic lines on the Mining Map. <br />3. In accordance with Rule 6.4.3(e), please modify Exhibit C, Pre-Mining Map, to show the type of vegetation currently <br />covering the affected area. <br />4. In accordance with Rule 6.4.3(1), please identify on the Pre-Mining and Mining Maps, the owner of the power <br />transmission line that runs parallel with the southeast permit boundary. <br />Rule 6.4.4 Exhibit D -Mining Plan <br />5. In the Mining Plan, the applicant states that the topsoil stockpiles will be stabilized with "suitable vegetation".
