<br />t E.4.3 Test Heap and Office Area <br />' The test heap and office area is located in the plains <br />area to the west of the other areas of disturbance. Figure <br />' E.4-1 shows the general facilities arrangement of the test <br />heap and office area. Battle Mountain has tested the test heap <br />' material and the water in the solution ponds for both cyanide <br />and other parameters. Test results are presentej in Appendix <br />J. <br />Battle Mountain will transfer the test heap pond solution <br />' to the new heap leach ponds upon completion of pond <br />construction. Pond solutions are estimated to be 5,000 gallons. <br />' Once the pond solutions are removed, pond liners will be folded <br />in. The test heap ore will be removed from the i:est area and <br />' transferred to the new leach pad facilities. Test heap ore to <br />be removed is estimated to be 5,000 tons. The test heap and <br />office area will be regraded to blend with surrounding areas. <br />The area will be used as a fenced equipment storage area for <br />the life of the mine. Upon mine closure, all equipment will <br />be removed and the area will be reclaimed in accordance with <br />the procedures outlined in Section E.2. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />E-20 (Revised 4/2089) <br />
