The County's
review process held during the winter and spring of 1998 culminated in a Special Use Permit
approval on April 13, 1998. I have enclosed a copy of the Special Use Permit that was issued
for the Tellier Gravel Pit.
Please note that any changes to the use, operation, physical layout, facilities, hauling, pollution
control methods, visual impact mitigation, or other activities that affect the mining and
reclamation of the Tellier Gravel Pit must be addressed by the County as an amendment to the
Special Use Permit. Please keep the approval conditions that were set forth by Routt County in
mind as you proceed through your final review of the project. If any of the conditions contradict
the conditions you plan to impose on the operation if approved, please notify me immediately.
If you have any questions or need clarification of the conditions of the permit, please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Sinc/ere~ly, ~ /
/I/moo/
lCa~ryn Fbx~
Assistant Planning Director
attachment: Special Use Permit #98-206
cc: Luke Tellier
C.D.Johnson
Kent Crofts
