3.06 NPDES Permit
An application for a NPDES Permit will be submitted for this projec[. Once a permit is
obtained, a copy of thz permit will be Forwarded to DMG. The operator intends to obtain a
single NPDES Permit covzring both srorm water and "construction dewa[ering" activities at
the site under the State general permit program.
3.07 iVlanagement of Runoff
CAMAS intends to manage on-site tvnoff under the auspices of NPDES storm water permit
conditions included in the NPDES discharge permit obtained to perform dewatering during
mining. CAMAS will implement best management prac[ices (BMPs) to prevent storm water
from coming in contact with undesirable materials (fuels, lubricants, etc.) stored on-site to
operate and maintain equipment and,vehicles. No paving will be done on-site, so most
precipitation will immediately infiltrate to recharge the water table as it presently does.
