Initial work will consist of improvements (as necessary) to existing perimeter fencing and
construction of nesv fencing as required to provide site security. Next, topsoil and
overburden stripping and stockpiling and Phase 1 mining will occur.

(H:V). As mining progresses beyond 30 tt, wet mining techniques will be used to mine the
sand and gravel. Also, mining will progress from the southwest towards the east and north

and conveyance to the proposed processing plant. Other possible equipment will include a
bulldozer(s), an excavator(s), a water truck, and miscellaneous support vehicles.
' Reclamation grading and seeding will follow the mining operation. Exhibit E -Reclamation
' Plan, provides the details of the proposed site reclamation which will either consist of an open
lake or Gvater reservoir. Both options will consist of regrading and seeding mined slopes and
' planting additional trees and shrubs to enhance riparian habitat and preserving a [rail corridor
along the Cache La Poudte River.
