Topography is mostly rough, <br />but varies from gentle slopes to steep cliffs. Rock outcrops are common. Slopes <br />are quite variable averaging between 3;~ and 35%. Vegetation is favored by shading <br />and lower evaporative losses on northerly -facing slopes.
