Methane Drainage Wells Project Plan
Technical Revision 102; MDW 19-06
RECLAMATION PLAN
Reclamation of the pad and roads will follow when it is decided by MCC that the drill
hole is not performing its intended purpose.
1. Upon completion of each phase of activity at a given site, all debris, trash, and
drilling related equipment, or de-gas housing will be removed from the site.
2. When the mud pit or pits are sufficiently dry, they will be filled with stored
sub-soil material and compacted to minimize any settling.
3. A backhoe and a bulldozer will redistribute material on and around the drill
pad to achieve as closely as practicable the original contour of the site. The
azea will then be ripped or scazified.
4. Stored topsoil will be distributed as evenly as possible over the disturbed pad
area.
5. The surface ownership for this project is held by the US Forest Service. The
entire drill pad area and reclaimed roads will be re-seeded using the
USFS/CDMG-agreed seed mix (described below) for reclamation purposes on
National Forest Service lands (correspondence regazding MCC 2005 Annual
Operating Plan dated May 13, 2005 from Levi Broyles, USFS to Mike
Peacock, MCC).
