approximate sites of drill holes SL4,13,14,21, and 2a and
3 others in the flat lying portions of the 40 acre parcel
to the west).
2.) The orientation, location, and elevation of the! old
ranch house will be determined.
3.) The monuments and the ranch house orientation Will be
tied in by both horizontal and vertical control to the mine
coordinate grid system and also to a minimum of 3 additional
permanent monuments to be set outside of the possible
subsidence perimeter.
4.) If snow cover permits (Normally snow cover in this area
is in excess of 3 ft deep from November through April which
represents 6 months of the year.) levels will be run between
all monuments and the ranch house control on a quarterly
basis. At this time, if motion is detected on any of the
monuments by change in elevation, a transit survey tying the
offending monuments into the perimeter monuments will be run
to determine movement in both the horizontal and vertical
planes.
5.) Results will be submitted to the Division semiannually.
The measures described
high competency of the
aforementioned histori
precludes any material
forseeable use of land
previously concerning the extCemely
overlying strata coupled with the
cal lack of subsidence effectively
damage or diminuation of value or
associated with our mining operations.
Specific measures to be taken to further mitigate the unlikely
occurance of subsidence are contained in the Emling tteport
following.
•
~ ~/~8/81
190
