A small <br />e::hausting fan is installed or. the only open entry of the #1 <br />Mine portal area. <br />A pre-e::isting (circa 19.''•~=r~ acce=_s trail leads to the fan, <br />but no vehicles have traveled the path =_ince the fan was <br />installed. The path is presently ove ~_~o~-,n and stable and poses <br />no hazard as far as surface water cor-•-~;;nation of silt~no is <br />concerned. <br />bunland has been granter; or. e::emF~t:c~n under Rule 4.05.~(3i <br />+rom coursing runoff from the +an area '~~~to the sediment pond. <br />The area of this e;:empted dist~rocnce i<_ v.0~,9 Acres, more or <br />less. <br />Following final abar~donrr~enc o+ mir ;'.q operations and <br />occurring simultaneously with tr= seal.nc of the #1 Mine <br />portals, the #1 Mine fan will be removed and the portal sealed <br />and back:filled in a similar manner to the #~ portals.
