The application is well organized and addresses the majority of the operation and reclamation plan concerns. There are a few items that will require clarification and/or additional submittals prior to DMG issuing a decision for this site. The review follows the application format with any requests for additional information under the appropriate exhibit heading. Exhibit A- Legal Description NO COMMENT Exhibit B-Index Map The exact access to the pit off of Crowfoot Valley Road must be clearly identified and illustrated. Exhibit B does not clearly show where the access road described in Exhibit D is located. This should be amended to include the above items. Exhibit C- Pre-Mining and Mininq Plan Maps The typical mining layout illustration indicates that the topsoil and overburden stockpiles will be stored on the west side of each phase. There is a small surface water run-off feature (gully) that cuts through the southwest corner of phase I. Care should be taken so that the topsoil and overburden stockpiles are not placed within this drainage course, or the drainage should be diverted around phase I until reclamation is completed.
