Exhibit G -Water Information
(1) During both mining and reclamation no impact on Bound water is anticipated. We will not expose
any ground water during mining and reclamation activities.
(2) Impact on surface water:
(a) Surface drainage from the site presently occurs in [he area between Phase 1 and II and from
the overburden stockpile area adjacent to Phase 1. An intermittent stream is east of the affected land, however,
no impact on this intermittent stream and/or its drainage is anticipated.
(b) See page 4 "water supply" from Soil Survey of Rio Blanco County Area Colorado as
prepared by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service, Issued May 1982 included in
Exhibit K.
(c) The pit is a terrace gravel deposit and no de-watering is necessary. Water will only be needed
for dust suppression during processing. No washing operation is planned. Water will be delivered to the site in
water wcks and held in storage tanks.
(3) We estimate that water used during processing is approximately 2 gallons per ton of finished crushed
product. Daily wnsumption is estimated at 4,000 gallons of water or approximately 2 loads of water in a
typical water truck. Water will be delivered to the processing plant in water Wcks and held in storage tanks.
Water is distributed through a dust suppression system on the processing plan[.
(4) See (3) above.
(5) No NPDES permit is required for this operation
