<br />Perennial Crass Suppression
<br />This product will suppress perennial grasses such as bahiagmss, Bennudagmss,
<br />tall Tescuq orchardgmss, Kenmeky bluegrass, and quackgmss that are grown as
<br />ground covers in tree and vine crops.
<br />For suppression of tab fescue, fine fescue, orchardgmss and quackgmss, apply 8
<br />fluid ounces of this product in 10 to 20 gallons of water per acre.
<br />For suppression ofKenmcky bluegrass covers, apply 6 fluid ounces of this product
<br />per acre. Do not add ammonium sulfate.
<br />For best results, mow cool season grass covers in the spring to even their height
<br />and apply this product 3 to 4 days after mowing.
<br />For suppression of vegetative growOr and seedhead inhbition of bahiagrass for
<br />approximately 43 days, apply 6 fluid ounces of this product in 10 to 23 gallons
<br />of water pv acre. Apply 1 to 2 weeks after full green-up or after mowing to a
<br />uniform height of 3 to 4 inches. This application must be made prior to seedhead
<br />emergence.
<br />For suppression up to 120 days, apply 4 fluid ounces of this product per acre,
<br />followed by an application of 2 [0 4 fluid ounces per acre about 45 days later.
<br />Make no more than 2 applications per year.
<br />For bumdown of Bermudagmss, apply I to 2 goons of this product in 3 b 20
<br />gallons of water per acre. Use this treatment only if reduction of the Bennudagrnss
<br />stand can be tolerated. When bumdown is required prior to harvest, a0ow at least
<br />Zl days to ensure sufficient rime for bumdown to occur.
<br />For suppression of Bermudagmss, apply 6 b ] 6 fluid ounces of this product per
<br />acre ease of the Rocky Mountains and ]6 Buid ounces of this product per acre
<br />west of the Rocky Mountains. Apply in a total spray volume of 3 to 20 gallons
<br />per acre, no sooner than 1 to 2 weeks after full green-up. If the Bermudagmss is
<br />mowed prior to application, maintain a minimum of3 inches in height. Sequential
<br />applications may be made when rtgrowdt occurs and Bennudagmss injury and
<br />stand reduction can be tolerated. East of the Rocky Mountains, rates of 6 b 10
<br />Fluid ounces of this product per acre should be used in shaded conditions or where
<br />a lesser degree of suppression is desired.
<br />t Stump ('Free Crops)
<br />E INSTRUCTIONS: Cut stump applications of this product may be made
<br />ring site preparation or site renovation, prior b vansplanting tree crops. This
<br />product will convol regrowth of cut stumps and resprouts of many types of era
<br />species, some of which arc listed below,
<br />Citms Trees: Calamondin, Cbironja, Citron, Citms hybrids, Grapefnit, Kumquat,
<br />Lemon, Lime, Mandarin (Tangerine), Orange (sll), Pummelo, Tangelo, Tangor.
<br />Fmit Trees: Apple, Apricot, Cherry (sweet. hour), Crabapple, Loquat, Maytlaw,
<br />Nectarine, Olive, Peach, Pear, Plum/Pmne (all), Quince.
<br />Nut Trees: Ahnond, Beechnut, Brazil Nut, Bunemut, Cashew, Chestnut. Chin-
<br />quapin, Filbert (hazelnut), Hickory Nut, Macadamia, Pecan, Pistachio, Walnut
<br />(black, English).
<br />Apply [his product using suitable equipment to ensure coverage of the entire
<br />cambium. Cut trees or resprouts close to the soil surface. App]ya 50 to 100 percent
<br />solution of this product to the freshly cut surface immedimely after coning Delays
<br />in application may result in reduced performance. For best results, applications
<br />should be made during periods of active growth and full leaf expansion.
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICT]ONS: DO NOT MAKE CU7 STUMP APPLI-
<br />CATIONS WHEN TlA ROOTS OF ADJACENT DESBtABLE TREES MAY
<br />BE GRAFTED TO THE ROOTS OF THE CUT STUMP. INJURY RESULT-
<br />ING FROM ROOT GRAFTING MAY OCCUR IN ADJACENT TREES. Some
<br />sprouts, stems, or trees may share Ore same root system. Adjacent trees having
<br />a similar agq height and spacing may signal shared roots. Whether gmfred or
<br />shared, injury is likely to occur bran-vested stems/trees when one or more trees
<br />sharing common roots are treated. '
<br />9.] Berry Crops

<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICT]ONS: 7o avoid damage, herbicide sprays must not
<br />be etlowed ro tontac[ desirable vegetation, including green shoots, canes, or
<br />age. Allow a minimum of 30 days between laze application and harvest in
<br />berries. Allow a minimum of 14 days between last application and harvest in
<br />er berry crops. Do not make directed sprays within the cranberry bush areas
<br />prior to berry harvest.
<br />Spat Treatment in Cranberry Production
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: Spot treatments may be used to control weeds growing

<br />minuntze drift in order to avoid crop injury.
<br />Post-Harvest Treatments in Cranberry Production
<br />USE INSTRUCTIONS: Application of this product may be made afrm the har-
<br />vest of cranberries to control weeds growing within the field. Best results will be
<br />obtained if applications are made to vines that appear dormant (after they have
<br />corned red). Hand-held sprayers, wipers, or other appropriate application equip-
<br />ment listed under "APPLICATION EQUIPMENT AND 7ECHN1QlJFS" in thts
<br />Label may be used. If using hand-held sprayers, use a 0.3 to I ercent solution
<br />of this product. Spray to wet vegetation, not to mnoff. if using hand-held boom
<br />sprayers, apply 2 b 4 quarts of this product per acre.'
<br />PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS: Make applications only after cranberries have
<br />been harvested. Do not treat more than IO percent of the Ionl bog. Allow e
<br />minimum of 6 months after last application and next harvest of emnberties. Do
<br />not apply this product through the irrigation system. Do not make applications by
<br />au. Do not apply duec0y to water. Even though vines appear dortoant, contact
<br />of the herbicide solution with desirable vegetation may result in damage or seven
