Long <br /> Division Director <br />DATE: July 15, 2001 <br />RE: File Na M-2001-0.?5, Trout Creek Pit <br />The following items must be addressed by the applicant, in order to satisfy applicable requirements of C.R.S. <br />34-32.5 101 et seq. and the Construction Materials Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Boazd. <br />General <br />1. Rule 6.2.1 (2)(b) (Exhibit C D & F maps) requires that the prepazer sign the maps. Please provide the <br />appropriate signature. <br />2. Rule 6.2.1(2)(e) requires that the exhibit C, D, & F maps have a legend. Provide such a legend. <br />3. On page 2 of the application state the present and future land usels for the quarry portion of the <br />operations. <br />Ezhibit A-Legal Description <br />4. The legal description must also include that portion of the existing permit azea (M-1981-079) that lies <br />west of the area described if it is to be included in the proposed permit azea. The permit area boundary is <br />confusing in that area of the maps for Exhibits C,D, & F <br />Exhibit C-Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of affected Lands <br />5. During the pre-operation inspection Charles Murphy stated that Trout Creek will flow in a pipe across <br />the proposed permit area. If plans for the location of the pipeline are known show the location in this <br />exhibit and on the reclamation plan map, exhibit "E". This is not a requirement of your application; <br />however, if you can provide the information at this time, it will save you from having to revise the <br />permit, at a later date. <br />6. Rule 6.4.3(d) requires that you portray the total area to be involved in the operation. This should be <br />done with an affected lands, as well as permit boundary. If these two boundaries are the same in certain <br />areas of the operation show them as such with an appropriate legend symbol or label on the maps. See <br />Rule 1:1(3) for the definition of affected land. <br />7. The proposed permit and affected land boundaries are unclear in the azea of existing Permit No. <br />M-81-079. Please clarify these boundaries. <br />
