Exhibit E-Maps (Rule 6.3.5) There are several maps included in the application, which are variously labeled as to their exhibit. The one labeled as "Exhibit C" is presumably the mining plan map since it accompanies the Exhibit C narrative. (If this presumption is correct, it should have been labeled as "Exhibit E - Mining Plan Map.") This map appears to lack the required arrows indicating the direction of mining. The narrative given in Exhibit C states that mining will begin at the east end and progress to the west. Please provide a corrected map, properly labeled, including the above- mentioned arrows, plus a signature and date, as required (see Rule 6.2.1(2)). All other application materials are considered adequate at this time. Please provide two copies of your responses. Also, since the public copy of the application materials that aze on file with the county clerk and recorder must be kept complete, please additionally file a copy of your responses and forwazd to me a copy the receipt for that filing. I must receive the receipt prior to the decision date. We have corresponded in regard to the published notice, After it has been published, please provide a notarized affidavit from the publisher. The affidavit must also be received here prior to the decision date. The reclamation costs will be estimated and the figures sent to you soon, under separate cover. These will be based on several assumptions, including the amount and type of disturbance to reclaim, as well as the type of equipment to mobilize, and from where. Any additional clarifying details you wish to provide may help us reach a better figure. I will try to schedule apre-operation inspection sometime soon, but it might not occur before the decision date. The decision date is currently set for 10/18/07. If you find that additional time is needed for preparing and submitting the required adequacy items, please send me a written request for extension, which should include a specified length of time.
