BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Ftecei~ai~ <br />OF THE <br />7~7 COUNTY OF DELTA, STATE OF COLORADO ~~ g `' ~` 1~ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-R-027 ~ ®urenr,.o Raid OSft<o <br />i~Nlao~ cf *,;,ncras & QOVIPpY <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING DELTA COUNTY SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS AND <br />MINOR SUBDMSION REGULATIONS FOR DELTA COUNTY AND ADOPTING <br />INTERIM POLICY ON FAMII,Y SPLITS, NO IMPACT SUBDIVISIONS, AND RESOURCE <br />PRESERVATION PLANS <br />\VHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 30-28-133, et seq, the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Delta County (the Board) has adopted Subdivision Regulations for Delta County and amendments <br />thereto; <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 30-28-133 and C.R.S. 30-28-101 (10) (d), the Board has also <br />adopted Minor Subdivision Regulations for Delta County, which regulations exempt minor <br />subdivisions (three or fewer lots) from the Delta County Subdivision Regulations; <br />WHEREAS, the Delta County Planning staff has proposed and the Delta County Planning <br />Commission has considered a proposed Interim Policy on Family Splits, No Impact Subdivisions <br />and Resource Preservation Plans, a copy of which proposal is attached hereto and by reference <br />made a part hereof; <br />WHEREAS, following a public hearing on October 15, 1996, after publication and notice as <br />required by C.R.S. 30-28-133, as amended, the Delta County Planning Commission voted <br />unanimously to recommend that this Board amend the Subdivision Regulations and the Minor <br />Subdivision Regulations to provide for this accelerated process as an interim policy; and <br />WHEREAS, this Board deems it to be in the best interest of the County, its residents, and its <br />property owners to comply with the recommendations of the Planning Commission. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Delta <br />County as follows: <br />I . Section 1 of the Delta County Subdivision Regulations adopted August 28, 1972, as <br />amended, amended by the addition of Section 1-5 to read as follows: <br />1-5 Interim Policies <br />Notwithstanding any other provision of these Regulations, the Board of County <br />Commissioners, from time to time, may adopt by resolution, interim policies which modify <br />
