b) Estimating the flow in the ditch at two sampling
locations by measuring the geometry of the ditch and
depth of water. Measurements should be taken at the
time of sample collection.
Locations for the proposed sample collection are shown
in Plate 1 (at the entry and departure points to and
from the permit area).
•
7.2 GROUND WATER MONITORING
Ground water monitoring will concentrate on water levels
and quality monitoring in three installed monitoring wells within
the permit area. The following parameters will be monitored:
Monitoring Wells MW-1, 2 and 3
Measure field water quality parameter monthly (p H,
conductivity and temperature). Record elevation of the
water level in the wells at the time of sampling
Monitoring Wells MW-1 and MW-3
Sample water for complete chemical analysis semi-
annually. Time of sampling: before (April) and after
October) irrigation season.
The following are the suggested water quality parameters
n
to be analyzed:
21
GEO•HYDRO CONSULTING, INC.
