Lamm <br />Governor <br />March 21, 1984 <br />Mr. Sam Arentz <br />Storm King Mines, Inc. <br />9131 East Mineral Circle <br />Englewood, Colorado 80112 <br />RE: Coal Ridge No. 1, F11e No. C-065-84 <br />Dear Mr. Arentz: <br />Upon reviewing your application for a permit to conduct coal mining in <br />Colorado, dated March 1984, the staff has determined that it is incomplete <br />under the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act C.R.S. 1973, 34-33-101 <br />et se . <br />The following items must be submitted 1n order for the appllcatlon to be <br />deemed complete for the purposes of filing: <br />Identification of Interests - Rule 2.03.4 <br />1. The appllcatlon contains no statement pertaining to whether Storm King <br />Mines has operated another coal mine in the United States within the past flue <br />years. <br />Other Licenses and Permits - Rule 2.03.10 <br />1. The application does not contain copies of NPDES and emissions permits. <br />To complete the appllcatlon, copies of the permits or applications for the <br />permits must be incorporated Into the permit application. <br />Surface Water Information - Rule 2.04.7(2) <br />1.
