CO-0027154 <br />T0: Colorado Yampa Coal Company <br />Eif12i01~S_!2F_E9Gi <br />Pursuant to the authority vested in the Division of <br />Administration of the Colorado Department of Health ("divi- <br />sion") Dy C.R.S. 1973, 25-8-301-308 (Supp. 1981), which <br />authority has been delegated to me by the executive director <br />of the department, I hereby make the following findings of <br />fact: <br />1. Colorado Yampa Goal Company formerly Energy <br />Fuels Corporation, a subsidiary of Getty Coal Company owns <br />and operates three surface coal mines ("mines") located <br />southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado• in i4N and TSN. <br />RgSw• R86W and R87W of the 6th P.M. <br />2. The mines are the subject of national pollutant <br />discharge elimination System permit No. [0-0027154 ("permit"). <br />The permit was originally issued to Energy Fuels Corporation <br />on approximately September 19r 1975. The permit was sched- <br />uled to expire on June 30, 1978. On April Z7. 1978 the divi- <br />sion extended the permit until such time as a renewal permit <br />was issued or denied.
