<br />4. A typographic error on page 2.04-41 of Volume 1 may lead the reader <br />to some confusion in calculating the recharge rate of the overburden <br />aquifer. The amount of water available for ground water recharge should <br />be 3.2 inches per year, not .2 inches as it appears on page 2.04.-41. <br />RSSPONSS: <br />J <br />The typographical error has been corrected on revised page p~-- <br />2.04-41a, attached. <br />5. A ground water level hydrograph for alluvial aquifer monitor well <br />08-AU-4 is plotted in Figure 6 (Volume 2). No data exists for this well <br />in the permit application (except for the drill log in Exhibit 1) and it <br />is not plotted on a map within the permit application. Please explain <br />the current status of this well. <br />SESPONSE: <br />(Jell 008-AU-4, an alluviel monitor yell in the Fiah Creek ~ <br />~ K- <br />floodplain, is not in or adjacent to the proposed permit area. Data <br />on this well has been removed from revised Figure 6. <br />6. The applicant should include in the permit application well <br />construction summaries for all monitor well completions that are <br />identified in Table A of the Hydrologic Monitoring Plan (Exhibit 15). <br />This information should include well depths, design (including perforated <br />intervals), completion dates, and surface elevations. <br />-5- <br />
