Dear Marion:
Thank you for sending the additional information on vegetation and sub-
sidence. I am sorry that I didn't make myself totally clear when I asked for
the vegetation information. I did have your letter dated July 25 and the
vegetation baseline outline. What I did want was the draft vegetation sampling
requirements by Carol Pahlke.
Included is additional material needed for our present Mining and Reclama-
tion Plan. The material and the location to file it in the Plan are as follows:
Revised Affected Land Map to include the proposed enlargement
of the refuse disposal area. (Exhibit C)
Revised Coal Pile and Screening Area Map to include proposed drainage
for the loadout facilities. (Exhibit C)
Revision to the refuse disposal plan to include a larger area.
(Exhibit D following page D-13)
Stability analysis for refuse disposal area done by Armstrong
Engineering. (Exhibit D or back folder pocket with sediment
pond stability analysis)
Letter from Fox and Associates concerning stability of the sedi-
ment pond. (Include with Fox and Associates stability analysis)
Sediment control for the loadout facilities (Exhibit G following
page G-9)
Leroy Black of Ute Engineering in Delta is inspecting construction of the
sediment pond. He was out Wednesday August 22, to inspect the layout for the
