Hydrologic Balance: Ground Water - Rules 2.04.5 2.04.7, <br />2.05.3(4), 2.05.6(3), and 4.05 <br />The ground water sections of the permit application can he found in <br />Volume Z, pages 2.04-31 through 2.09-44. Additional ground water <br />information was submitted in the Responses to the Preliminary Adequacy <br />Review dated November 1981 and in responses dated September 30, 1982. <br />A map of the flooded underground mine workings was submitted on <br />The applicant has installed numerous ground water monitoring wells. The <br />operator has committed to (pages 4.05-10 and -II) "... monthly measurement <br />of ground water levels and quarterly collection of water quality samples". <br />ffowever, the applicant has not specified which monitoring wells will be <br />monitored, and not specified the parameters to be monitored for each <br />monitoring well.
