A complete copy of the Northfield Permit Application document is on file and <br />available for public inspection in both the Clerk and Recorders Office in the Fremont <br />County Courthouse, Canon City, Colorado, and the DRMS Offices located at the <br />following address: <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Phone: (303) 866-3567 <br />In the proposed permit boundary, portions of the planned underground mine will <br />potentially affect areas within 100 feet of.the.right-of-way of County Roads 79 and <br />77. The affected section of County Road 79 begins near the center of Section 13, <br />extending southwest for a distance of approximately 6,700 feet. County Road 77 is <br />potentially affected starting at the north line of Section 22 for a distance of <br />approximately 900 feet to the south. A public hearing, for the purpose of <br />determining whether the interests of the public and affected landowners will be <br />protected may be requested by contacting the DRMS in writing within 30 days after <br />the last publication of the this notice. Any such hearing would be held in the locality <br />of the proposed mining operation. <br />Additional information regarding the subject application may be obtained at the <br />DRMS. Any written comments with respect to the application, objections to the <br />application, or requests for informal conferences pursuant to the Regulations of <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, Rule 2.07, should be filed with the Division <br />of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety at the forgoing address. <br />
