long. The inflow rate to the pond is 600 gallons per minute, <br />which is the maximum rate of the pump utilized for <br />dewatering. The Torricelli Therom was utilized to compute <br />the flow through the 8" pipes. Each pipe is capable of <br />discharging 700 gallons per minute. Therefore, discharge <br />over the emergency spillway seems highly unlikely.
