<br />-~- <br />2.05.6(6) Subsidence Surveys, Subsidence Monitoring, and Subsidence Control Plan <br />The applicant is reminded that the landowner has indicated in writing that sub- <br />sidence is a major concern. Although it is possible that no structures and <br />renewable resource lands exist in the area of the mine plan, the applicant is <br />still responsible for compliance with the performance standards with respect , <br />to material damage as required in 4.20.3 and this potential problem should <br />not be ignored. <br />2.06.8 Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation Operations on Areas or Adjacent to <br />Areas, Including Alluvial Valley Floors <br />The Division requests that the applicant provide a reconnaisance level alluvial <br />valley floor study for the area within and adjacent to those lands to be affected <br />throughout the entire life of the mine. Please contact the Division for specific <br />information if desired. Also, please identify the specific area for which the <br />proposed negative defermination is requested. <br />2.10.3 Specific Information Requirements <br />The applicant should indicate on FM-1 the names of the lessors relative to their <br />properties. <br />2.06.10 Coal Processing Plants and Support Facilities Not Located With <br />1. The applicant should provide a schedule for reclamation of the loadout <br />facility, particularly since it is intended to be used for a relatively short time. <br />2. Please provide a post-mining land use map showing the topography of the <br />reclaimed area. The applicant should also submit a written statement of approval <br />of post-mining land use from the legal owner of record. <br />3. The applicant must propose a means of determining revegetation success as <br />required by 4.28.3(13). <br />4. Please provide the Division with the information requested in item 2.05.4 <br />No. 2 of this letter as it applies to the loadout facility. This information <br />is necessary for bond calculation. <br />
