However, BPT <br />limitations for TSS are applicable. <br />2/ Under BAT, alternative limitations exist for discharges during periods of <br />precipitation less than or equal to the 10 year-24 hour event and for <br />discharges caused by precipitation in excess of the 10 year-24 hour event. <br />Discharges during periods of no precipitation do not have to meet settleable <br />solids limits. At the option of the permittee, during periods of <br />precipitation less than or equal to the 10 year-24 hour event, the discharge <br />may meet a settleable solids limitation of .5 ml/1 instead of the total <br />suspended solids limitations. Discharge during periods in excess of the 10 <br />year-24 hour event may comply with limitations for pH, oil and grease and <br />salinity monitoring, at the option of the permittee. However, the permittee <br />is responsible for providing evidence to the Division that the alternative <br />limitations are applicable. <br />
