As a part
of its hydrologic program, Empire plans to conduct further aqui-
fer tests to determine specific aquifer characteristics. The
entire water monitoring program will be re-evaluated no later
than June, 1982. If there are no significant changes in the
parameters for which Empire will be testing, the need for con-
tinued testing will be re-evaluated. Results of the hydrologic
testing and monitoring program will be submitted to the agency on
an annual basis.
4.3.6 Projected Hydrologic Impacts
Since there are no wells completed in the aforemen-
tinned aquifers which serve as a source of water for a public
water system, Empire anticipates no material damages to any water
users. The activities resulting from Empire Energy's underground
mining operations are projected to have no discernable effects on
the hydrologic balance. Section 4.6 demonstrates no intercon-
' nection will be made between the large sandstone aquifers (see
Section 4.3.2). As shown on Maps IV-1 and IV-2, no subsidence is
IV-79
Revised 05/16/80
