Page 5
Preliminary Adequacy - Snowmass Coal
April 24, 1981
2.10 Maps and Plans
AZl maps, plans and cross-sections in the application must be verified
as to their accuracy. AZ1 maps, plans and cross-sections that came
under Rule 2.I0, directly or by reference, shall be prepared by or
under the direction of and certified Ly, a qualified registered
professional engineer or a professional geologist, with the assistance
of expects in the appropriate field.
All maps, plans and cross-sections requiring certification must bear an
original signature. However, in order to avoid unnecessary work, only
the final master copy on file with the Division must bear an original
signature. The other copies may bear a reproduction of the professional
seal. An example of an acceptable method for handling map verification
would be to place the following statement on each original map, plan or
cross-section:
"r certify this map is correct to the best of my knowledge, as
was prepared by (name who
is a qualified professional Soil Scientist." (or other appropriate
title)
