After reviewing the permit <br />application at the County Clerk and Recorders Office in the Fremont County <br />Courthouse, it appears the hydrology report fails to take into account either <br />the private wells immediately to the south of the mine permit area or even <br />those in the mine permit azea. These wells aze for domestic as well as <br />livestock use. The only mention of domestic water use in the hydrology report <br />appears to be that which is going to be used by the mine. The hydrology study <br />does not include aquifer dischazge or recharge rates nor does it provide a risk <br />assessment on how mining operations may affect these rates, or subsequent <br />affects on water well production. <br />Quantification and characterization of all surface and ground waters within <br />the general area of the mine are required by the Regulations of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Boazd.
