• Jerry Koblitz <br />Page 2 <br />July 22,1997 <br />Site SLA7482 at the raw coal loadout has SHPO cleazance, as do sites SLA7196, <br />SLA7199, SLA7202, and SLA7368 on the P3 haul road up Jeff Canyon. <br />Sites 5LA6968 on the P3 haulroad on the west side of the ridge and site SLA7182 on the <br />P3 haul road right before Cow Canyon also have SHPO clearance. <br />Two sites have received SHPO instructions [o be avoided. Site SLA7181 at the Cow <br />Canyon/P3 haulroad intersection and site SLA7208 on the way to the R1 portal will be <br />required to be fenced out so disturbance will be avoided during operations. <br />Site SLA7186, also referred to as the Jeff Place, is eligible for the National Register. A <br />stipulation will be attached to the permit that no disturbance of this site is approved until <br />the treatment plan is completed and SHPO clearance have been received by the Division <br />The final site, SLA7194, at the raw coal loadout remains to receive SHPO clearance. The <br />Division understands that SHPO is working on providing cleazance for this site. <br />Numerous isolated finds, by definition, do not meet the criteria for eligibility and SHPO <br />• does not normally provide any clearance recortunendation for isolated finds. No further <br />work is required for all isolated finds at the Lorencito Canyon mine. <br />53. This question had to do with the calculation of the under burden gradient from using the <br />map as opposed to the gradient listed in the text.
