<br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 33, Article 34,
<br />Section 118, Paragraph 3 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on February 22, 1996, an application
<br />for a permit to conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-96-083, by Bowie Resources Limited,
<br />was considered complete for the purposes of filing. All review and comment periods as provided in
<br />the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado
<br />Mined Land Reclamation Boazd for Coal Mining initiate from this date of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to conduct underground coal mining operations on land located approximately
<br />five miles northeast of Paonia, Colorado. The permit area is located in portions of the following
<br />described lands:
