Hampden Ave., Suite 350
Denver, Colorado 80231
Re: Munger Canyon Permit Application
Our File No. C-020-81
Dear Mr. Bosworth:
This preliminary adequacy letter conveys concerns which have been identified
in the preliminary adequacy review of the above referenced application by our
staff and OSM. This letter constitutes the 60 day notification of preliminary
findings as required in 2.07.9 (Z) of the Colorado Rules and Regulations. The
preliminary nature of the enclosed comments must be stressed at this point.
Additional information may be required from Sheridan Enterprises as the re-
view continues.
The Division's decision to approve, deny, or modify the permit application
or to continue the review for another 60 days after the one hundred twenty
day review period expires, depends Largely upon how rapidly Sheridan Enterprises
is able to respond to this letter. It is unlikely that the Division will be
able to have sufficient time to complete the review by the one hundred
twentieth (120) day if your responses are received after June 9, 2981. Please
submit any requested information in a form which can be readily included in
the present application. 7 recommend that once you have examined our comments
we have a meeting to discuss the issues.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact either Fred Banta or
myself.
Sincerely,
~,t,~_
y~~-~--
Brian Munson
,Reclamation Specialist
BM/k1g
Enclosures
cc: R.
