Past information provided included: drilling data,
climatological, geology and hydrology, soil and vegetation, and
other related tunics.
On June 10, 1981, we had a meeting with the MLR Board to discuss
the Preliminary Adequacy Review., Letter for the Bear Mine. At that
time, the MLR Board requested that additional information be provided
before permit approval is granted. This required additional information
includes: more detailed geology and hydrology maps, data to determine
water table extent and storage capacity, permeability of the sandstone
aquifers, surface water (springs) information, and vegetation details.
In order to prepare a final topography map, we must show the relocation
of the proposed river change and also how ARCO's facilities will
affect Bear's reclamation.
IJe have initially reviewed the copy of ARCO's Permit Application
at the Delta County Planners Office. Much of the information
required by the MLR Board for the Beer dine Permit Application is
present in great detail in the ARCO Permit Application.
At the June 10, 1981, meeting between Ute Engineering and the MLR
Board, it was determined that the Bear Permit Application could
reference the ARCO Permit Application for the above required
information.
