Box 247 <br />Trinidad, Colorado 81082 <br />Rte: Environmental Pitigation <br />Dear Mr. Barron: <br />In regard to our conversations about the Helen mine, noco owned by Sundance <br />Coal Company, the Division finds that some immediate environmental mitigation <br />and reclamation activity should be undertaken. The measures include <br />stabilization and protection of topsoil stockpile and construction of the <br />water diversions and sediment control system. The topsoil. stockpile should <br />be moved to the location indicated on I•lap 12, submitted to this office <br />on P.pril 14, 1982. The pile is to be seeded with the follocving seed <br />miy:ture. This pile is to remain in that location, undisturbed, until it <br />is used for reclamation. <br />Temporary Seed Mix <br />1.
