D_p <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />TEST MINE (PHASE A) <br />COAL RIDGE N0. 1 MINE <br />1st Quarter 1985: Mobilization of equipment, office trailer, <br />changehouse trailer, supply trailer. <br />Construction of access road, development of <br />benches on the project site, facing up portal, <br />construction of Sediment Pond A, excavation of <br />Diversion Channel A and C, upgrading of County <br />Road 335 where necessary. <br />Install temporary electrical, water supply and <br />sewage. <br />2nd Quarter 1985: Drive rock tunnels. Two tunnels will be <br />driven together, with cross cuts at approx- <br />imately 300 foot centers. Total excavation <br />time estimated to be 6-8 months. <br />3rd Quarter 1985: Continue to drive rock tunnel. Commence <br />installation of temporary surface facilities <br />such as dewatering plant, screening plant, <br />sumps, pumping station, raw coal storage. In- <br />stall flume in rock tunnels. Possibly inter- <br />sect Wheeler coal seam late this quarter. <br />4th Quarter 1985: Complete installation of surface production <br />facilities. Commence main entries for panel <br />development to the west. Production rates <br />should be 7-10,000 tons per month of coal. <br />Coal to be flumed to surface facilities as <br />preliminary flume test. <br />
