The following is a status report on the progress <br />made toward correcting those problems: <br />1. Re-establishment of the drainage system west of the coal stockpile areas <br />and clear drain culvert near coal dryer by October 15, 1981. <br />The drainage system west of the coal stockpiles will be totally <br />re-established by October 12, 1981, by removing all stockpiled sand/ <br />gravel, timbers and other materials used for mining from within the <br />system. The drain culvert has been cleared of all debris. <br />2. Quarterly inspection report for the Dorchester #1 Mine coal processing <br />waste disposal area by October 30, 1981. <br />Dorchester Coal is in the process of obtaining an engineering firm closer <br />to the Dorchester #1 Mine. The firm is Alessi and Associates, Inc. The <br />inspection of the coal processing waste area and pursuant report by a <br />Professional Engineer will be submitted to the CMLR offices by October 30, <br />1981. <br />3. Notification to surface property owners of mining plans for the Dorchester <br />#1 Mine, proof of notification by October 30, 1981. <br />A copy of the letter(s) and map notifying surface property owners of <br />the Dorchester #1 mining plans is enclosed. <br />4. Topsoil slavage plan for the coal processing waste area by October 15, <br />1981. <br />A 10' to 20' buffer zone has been constructed around the coal processing <br />waste area as of October 6, 1981.
