Page Eleven
Preliminary Acequacy Review
GEX - Roadside & Cameo Mines
April 27, 1981
4. Within those areas identified as unconsolidated stream-laid deposits,
identify separately those areas where the vegetation suggests subirrigation.
5. The applicant should provide a verbal description of the regional flood
irrigation practices for watersheds of the same size or smaller than those
in the study area. For the Colorado River, describe flood irrigation
practices in other areas, along the same river. For tributaties to the
Colorado River, describe flood irrigation practices in similarly sized
watersheds and smaller watersheds.
2.07.6 Criteria for Review of Permit Applications for Permit Approval
or Denial
1. It has come to our attention that GEX Colorado rnc. is delinquent on
payment of the 15 cents per ton reclamation fees. GEX should be aware that
2.07.6(2)(0) requires that the permit cannot be issued until the applicant
has submitted proof that reclamation fees have been paid.
2.10 Maps and Plans
1. All maps, plans and cross-sections in the application must be verified as
to their accuracy. ASI maps, plans and cross-sections that come under Rule
2.10 directly, or by reference, sha~1 be prepared by or under the direction of,
and certified by, a qualified registered professional engineer or a profes-
sional geologist, with the assistance of experts in the appropriate field.
All maps, plans and cross-sections requiring certification must bear an
original signature. However, in order to avoid unnecessary work, only the
final master copy on file with the Division must bear an original signature.
The other copies may bear a reproduction of the professional seal. An
example of an acceptable method for handling map verification would be to
place the following statement on each original map, plan or cross-section:
"I certify this map is correct to the best
of my knowledge, as was prepared by Mr.
who is a qualified professional (appropriate
professional title)."
This statement can then be properly signed and stamped by the appropriate
registered professional engineer or the professional geologist.
Rule 3 Bonding
The applicant must provide calculations showing how the operator determined
the number of cubic yards of earth material to be cut and filled.
