A11 drainage channel <br />crossings are made using culverts laid to the <br />natural channel gradient to minimize erosion and <br />. to facilitate migration of fish, if any, and to <br />avoid adverse impacts on the aquatic habitat and <br />related environmental values. (v3, p. 816-200(a)) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />816.154 Roads: Class I: Surfacing <br />a) Surface materials. Roads will be surfaced with <br />durable on-site sandstone or with gravel purchased <br />from a local contractor. (v3, p. 816-200) <br />b) The materials have been tested and found non-toxic- <br />and acid-forming. (v3, p. 816-200) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />816.155 Maintenance <br />a) Maintenance of design standards. Grading, dressing <br />shoulders and watering for dust control will be on- <br />going. Chemical dust suppressants will be periodically <br />applied. Paddle-wheeled scrapers will be used for <br />snow removal. (v3, p. 816-200) <br />The Applicant. will comply. <br />b) Repairs. Repairs are part of the routine maintenance <br />program. (v3, p. 816-201) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />c) Catastrophic events. In the highly unlikely event <br />of such an occurrence repairs and reconstruction <br />will be done in a timely manner. (v3, pp. 816-201-202) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />
