SHELTO N, Director PUBLIC NOTICE This publication constitutes public notice of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division to approve, with stipulations, an application for a five-year permit to conduct coal mining in accordance with the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The permit application was submitted by Twin Pines Coal Company, Inc., P.0. Box 749, Canon City, Colorado 81212, for the Twin Pines No. 2 Kline. The mine.is a proposed, underground coal mine, located in Fremont County, 2 1/2 miles south•.vest of the town of Rock vale in Fremont County, Colorado. The legal description of the proposed mine is as follows: Parts of the S 1/2, Sec. 35, T19S, R70W, parts of Sec. 1, T20S, R70>! and parts of Sec. 2, T20S, R7arJ of the 6th P.i4., containing approximately 127 acres. Tlie surface of the proposed permit area is owned by Giuliano & Sons Coal Company. The five-year permit term will allow reclamation at Twin Pines No. 1 Mine and initiate mining at the Twin Pines No. 2 t4iiie. The proposed date of commencement of the operation is January 1, 1934. A copy of the proposed decision may be obtained from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 423, Centennial 3uilding, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203-2273. Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Such a request must be made to the Division at the above address within 30 days of the first publication of this notice, be in writing, and state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. /th Doc.
