U5.6 (1)(b) requires a statement from the landowner in- ~1` Cr~~ <br />eluding comments on the proposed land use. These comments should W <br />particularly address the landowners opinions on the retention of the <br />roads and stockponds. <br />4. Tne sediment ponds which are proposed to be retained for post- <br />mining land use must be demonstrated to be in conformance with 4.u5.9. <br />Please supply sufficient information and narratives to demonstrate compll~nce. <br />2.05.6(2) Fish and Wildlife Plan \ <br />1. The applicant should state whether or not it is intended to imple- ~ \,~~ <br />ment the rtutigation procedures recommended In the letter from DOW which GD'~ <br />appears on page V-6 of the application. Please provide a statement of /~-per <br />intent. `Y <br />2. The potential for impacts to rare and endangered plant species <br />must be discussed by the applicant to comply with 2.05.6(2)(a)(iii). <br />2.05.6(3) Protection of Hydrological Balance <br />1. The applicant has not supplied sufficient information to address <br />concerns of sections 1.05.6(3)(a) with respect to groundwater. Also, <br />there should be a proposed groundwater monitoring plan included in the <br />application. <br />2. Due to the absence of geologic and groundwater hydrologic data, <br />the applicant cannot adequately address the probable hydrologic conse- <br />quences of the operation to comply with 2.05.6(3)(b)(iv). Once <br />these data are compiled, the applicant should supply a statement of <br />probable hydrologic consequences of the operation based on alI avarlable <br />data. <br />2.06.8(3) Alluvial Valleu Floor Determination <br />The Division is responsible for making a determination on the presence <br />of an alluvial valley floor. The information supplied in the application <br />is not sufficient to make this determination. It is necessary for the <br />applicant to supply information in greater detail with respect to the <br />potential for flood irrigation. <br />2.06.9 Angering <br />1. The angering methods must be described in greater detail. A drawing <br />should be supplied which indicates spacing of auger holes along the out- <br />crop. Sufficient information must be submitted to determine the stability <br />of the workings and fill. <br />
