Measures to be taken by the applicant to protect <br />public parks and historic places cannot be adequately reviewed <br />as required by Rule 2.05.6(4) until the applicant has submitted <br />their study results on cultural and historic resources in the <br />mine area. Reference previous comments Section 2.04.4. <br />2.10 - Maps and Plans <br />1. The application states on page 2.10-1 that all maps <br />are at a scale of 1:6,000 or larger. However, it is evident <br />that three maps (Numbers 1, 2, 6) are at a scale smaller than <br />allowed without Division approval in acordance with Rule <br />2.10.1(1). <br />Map 14 is at a scale which exceeds 1:24,000 allowed <br />by Rule 2.10.1(2). <br />The applicant should discuss and/or correct these <br />discrepancies. <br />2. The applicant should include an indication on Map 6 <br />of areas mined after 12/15/80 and prior to the date of this <br />revision application in accordance with Rule 2.10.2(4). <br />3. The applicant should show the location on a map of <br />all buildings on or within 1000 feet of the proposed permit <br />area, with identification of the current use of the building in <br />accordance with Rule 2.10.3(1)(d). <br />4. The applicant should also locate on a map any surface <br />and subsurface man-made features withi[1~passing through, or <br />passing over the proposed permit area, such as electric <br />transmission lines and pipelines in accordance with Rule <br />2.10.3(1)(e). <br />5. Compliance with Rules 2.10.3(1)(g) and (h) cannot be <br />determined until the applicant has submitted the results from <br />their cultural and historic resources study.
