Part <br />of this cooperation will cover rock mechanics and subsidence. I <br />have been informed by D!r. Les Beckett of the USBoM Denver Research <br />Center that a program sponsored by the BONi has been included in <br />their 1985 budget. I have further been informed by a letter from <br />Mr. Horton, Director of USBoM, (copy attached) that they desire to <br />cooperate with Storm King. <br />The outcome of these negotiations cannot be assessed at this time. <br />Storm King Mines, Inc. hereby commits itself to furnish your office <br />within 6 months - with or without cooperation by the USBoM - with a <br />new acceptable monitoring program. <br />Your cooperation with our endeavor to bring the project to fruition <br />is greatly appreciated. <br />Yours very truly, <br />E.
