ToDSOiling and_ Revegetat_1_on <br />Assumptions used in estimating reclamation costs are as specified 1n the <br />applicant's adequacy response letter of March 26, 1984, with the following <br />exceptions: <br />1. Based on the dimens rtlsting active Pit 4, as indicated 1n <br />the above noted r se letter, an over en volume of 600,000 yd3 was <br />assumed. <br />2:--~-8ased on 1984 Rental Rate Bluebook hourly rental ratter (monthly <br />ad,)ustment) and operating costs, the following cost estimates were changed: <br />Equipment <br />Applicant Estimate Bluebook Rate <br />631 D Scraper E85/hr ;149/hr <br />D9L Dozer 90 139 <br />D8K Dozer 60 88 <br />Cat 14g Grader 43 67 <br />3. As a result of the 2 adjustments above the total cost of backf1111ng, <br />grading and topsoiling at Pit 4 is estimated by the Division to be E546,640, <br />as apposed to the E162,470 estimated by the applicant. <br />4. The cost of re vegetating a 35 acre existing disturbance at Pit 4 (pit, <br />shop and stockpile areas) is estimated at 521,630, based on revegetatlons <br />costs used by the applicant. <br />5. The cost of reclamation at Pit 6 is estimated to be (12,391.00, using <br />Rental Rate Bluebook cost figures. <br />6. Pits 1, 2, 3 and 5 have been revegetated, but are still in the 10 year <br />liability period.
