The text has been expanded to detail the timing and sequence of the underground operation. This has been broken down into subareas and is shown on Figure 2.1-3. 21c. Secondary mining is addressed in Section 2.1.5 and subsi- dence considerations addressed in Section 2.1.9. 21d. Resource recovery is addressed in Sections 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.5 and 2.1.8 and should serve to satisfy all reason- able questions in the regard. 21e. Mining methods are described in Section 2.1.5. Bone coal and carbonaceous shale lenses are not addressed. The underground operation is presently being conducted in a 22 foot coal seam, and a raw, or run-of-mine product is being realized. The exact method of sealing mine openings is described in Section 3.7 and illustrated in Figures 3.7-1 and 3.7-2. Figure 2.2-2 has been changed to show the location of the totally enclosed portable crusher. 21f. The rail loadout is located in the town of Loma on the D & RGW right-of-way. This loadout is addressed in the Munger Canyon Appli- cation resubmittal which should receive a nearly simul- taneous review with this application. 22. All information on the trailers and other portable facili- ties, which are necessary to the review of this application have been provided. Design calculations for culverts have also been provided. Pages 12 and 13 23. The reclamation plan has been revised to reflect all relevant questions (Chapter 3.0). Pages 14 and 15 24A. The sediment pond shown on Figure 2.2-3 has been oversized and an expanded narrative along with additional calculations provided. 24B. All ditches are sized to handle a 10 year, 24 hour storm. Calculations have been provided to this extent. 24C. Figure 2.2-3 has been modified to include more detail on overland water flows. -6-
