i •
Wyoming Fuel Company's revised reclamation plan will conform
well aesthetically with the surrounding terrain. Postmining contours
in Pit No. 1 will reestablish pre-existing drainage patterns while
maintaining moderate slopes (less than 11 percent).. Pit No. 2 will
result in the development of a slight depression and flattening of
a slope that is currently very steep.
The following responses to the Phase I Apparent Completeness
Review are based on this revised reclamation plan.
The table on Figure 2 of our April 14, 1981 application indicated
the reclamation schedule for Pits 1 and 2. Due to delays in the
lease acquisition and permitting, this schedule has been updated and
included in this Addendum as Table 1.
Also, Table 1 of our April 14, 1981 application listed the
movement of overburden from mining phases to backfill phases and
stockpiles, respectively. Wyoming Fuel Company is submitting a re-
vised reclamation plan (Figure 1) with this Addendum that changes the
overburden movements originally shown on Table 1. A revised table is
included here as Table 2.
Table 2 indicates that portions of our existing overburden stock-
pile (Phase XI) will be moved every year through completion in 1985.
By 1985, the existing pit area (Phase IV) will be backfilled and the
overburden stockpile area will be graded, topsoiled and seeded.
Material movement from the overburden stockpile will probably be
erratic, depending on equipment and manpower availability, therefore,
the volumes presented in Table 2 are only targetgd estimates at this
time. ~ ,,,: ~ _ -"
2.05.4(2)(c)
Tables 1 and 2 in 2.05.4(2)(a) and 4.13 above should provide
sufficient detail to determine that proposed postmining contours
presented in Figure 1 of this Addendum can be achieved.
2.05.4 (2) (cl)
Table VI from our April 14, 1981 application is included in
this Addendum.
2.05.4(2)(f)
At this time Wyoming Fuel Company does not anticipate the
need to dispose of any acid or toxic forming material. The disposal
plan submitted with our April 14, 1981 application is only a
contingency plan to be used if a need arises. It is impossible to
locate proposed sites because the mine is constantly changing and
without being able to predict a need, we cannot predict a site.
-11-
