Aow long has the current operating mine been in operation? <br />Response: Chimney Rock Coal Company (CRC) commenced surface coal mining <br />on private ground adjacent to the application tract in November 1976. <br />Query 2. The current average rate of production for 12 months ending <br />January 20, 1982. <br />Response: During 1981, coal production as 255,011 ns, but CRC has a <br />current capability of 420,000 tons per annum. It is expected [hat the <br />company must operate at full capacity after obtaining three long term <br />contracts. Copies of these contracts are in our files. <br />Query 3.
