1. One development scenario will be assessed, an <br />extension of existing surface mine. This would <br />~ involve all of Little Middle Creek area and the <br />Fish Creek area. <br />~ 2. Estimated in-place Federal coal resources: <br />35,047,000 tons and estimated recoverable Federal <br />coal reserves: 16,066,600 tons. <br />• <br />3. Mine life would be 6.2 years. <br />~ 4. Estimated annual production of 2,578,675 tons. <br />5. There would be no additional workforce required and <br />~ no off-site disturbance. <br />6. Since the tract is an extension of an existing mine <br />~ the only surface disturbance on the lease area, <br />other than mining, would be for haulroads. <br />~ 7. Surface mining would disturb 110.4 acres per year <br />for 6.2 years. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />8.
