<br />783. "LL <br /> <br />(a) Include in the final application the land-use inform- <br />ation found in EA No. U12, p. 20. Make some estimate <br />of potential productivity based on yield data or estim- <br />ates for similar sites from the USllA, State agricultural <br />universities,or appropriate State natural resources or <br />agricultural agencies. <br />(b)(1) Provide a narrative describing mining methods which <br />were used or are being used in the old Blue Ribbon <br />Mine. <br />(3) Estimate amount of coal which has been removed from the <br />old Blue Ribbon Mine. <br />(4) Give approximate dates of past mining. <br />(5) Describe uses of land disturbed by the old Blue Ribbon <br />Mine previous to mining. <br />(c) Describe classifications of existing land use under 10- <br />cal law for the MPA and MPAA, if any. <br />783.24 <br />(d) Locate and describe existing buildings (such as those <br />associated with the old Blue Ribbon Kline) which are <br />within 1000 feet of the permit area. <br />(e) Locate man-made features, if any, such as major elec- <br />tric transmission lines, pipelines, etc. which may <br />pass through the .permit area. <br />~f~~ OSM will require the use of reference areas for vegeta- <br />tion studies. The application makes no mention of ref- <br />erence areas. <br />7$3.25 <br />(b) Provide elevations and locations of required water quality <br />and quantity, fish and wildlife, and air quality monitoring <br />stations. <br />(c) Provide cross sections in as much detail as posgible based <br />on drill hole and outcrop data. Plate 1 should be augmented <br />with cross sections incorporating drill hole locations. Em- <br />phasis is on strata immediately above and below E seam. <br />(j) Locate more precisely the proposed water well and give depth. <br />(1) Provide notarized proof that maps, plans and charts were <br />prepared by, or under the direction of a qualified registered <br />professional engineer or professional geologist. <br />6 <br />
