', <br />MINE SITE EVALUATION INSPECTION REPORT PAGE 7 <br />Energy No. 3 Mine <br />GENERAL COt4MENTS <br />Energy No. 3/Middle Creek <br />Reclamation. work has not started at Mine No. 3. There is approximately <br />100 acres that has not been topsoiled. An irrigation ditch broke and <br />the water cut gully through the graded spoil. Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division has given the mine until September 15, 1983 to <br />stabilize the gully. A plan for topsoiling has been submitted to <br />Colorado MLRD. <br />The Middle Creek pit needs to be backfilled. The conveyor is to be <br />moved out of the pit this summer and backfilling will be done on a plan <br />worked out with MLRD and Colorado Yampa Coal Company. <br />The sediment pond and ditches have. been completed at the tipple area. <br />A sediment control plan for the system must be submitted to Colorado <br />MLRD by September 15, 1983. <br /> <br />
