i'

In regard to vegetative cover sampling techniques,
there are 10 points per transect with each transect
representing one sample. Hits on vegetation, bare-
ground, rock or litter are recorded at Sm intervals
along a SOm transect. In determining percent cover
for a vegetative community total hits by species for
lifeform are divided by the grand total number of
hits which results in relative cover estimates.
A list of plant species by community are represented
in Tables 6F and 7F of Appendix F of the April 14,
1981 application.
2.05
Minimum Requirements for Operation and Reclamation Plans
2.05.2 Operation Plan - Estimated Area for Life of Operation
2.05.2(2} Figure 1 of this Addendum is provided as a rough
approximation of possible future mining beyond this
permit application.
2.05.3 Operation Plan - Permit Area
2.05.3(3)(b)(i)(C) The crusher was constructed in the spring
of 1979.
2.05.3(3)( ) As stated in the April 14, 1981 permit applicatio ,
each pit will have in-pit haul roads. The in-pit
haul roads are considered temporary because as
mining progresses the roads are relocated and min d
out. The in-pit roads will have 10-15~ overall
grades and pitch grades of 15~ or less.
The BLM right-of-way coal haul road has an overall/~~
grade of 1$ and the steepest pitch grade is 108
for 300 feet. The remainder of the required
information was stated in the April 14, 1981 permit
application.

The haul roads from Pit 1 and Pit
structed according to the typical
illustrated by Figure 3 of the Ap
application.
