~' .' <br />RESPONSE TO PREMININARY ADEQUACY REVIEW COMMENTS <br />BY WYOMING FUEL COMPANY - CANADIAN STRIP MINE <br />2.03 <br />Operations; Minimum Requirements for Legal, Financial, Compliance <br />and Related Information <br />2.03.8 Permit Term Information <br />It was agreed on July 17, 1981 by Wyoming Fuel Company and <br />the CMLR staff that the information provided on Figure 2 <br />of the April 14, 1981 application was adequate for this <br />comment. <br />2.03.9 :.Personal Injury and Property Damage Insurance Information <br />It was agreed on July 17, 1981 by Wyoming Fuel Company and <br />the CMLR staff by stipulation that Wyoming Fuel Company <br />would notify the Division of any change in policy or <br />termination of policy, rather than to rewrite the rider <br />on the policy provided in the application. <br />2.03.10 :Identification of Licenses and Permits <br />tPyoming Fuel Company will provide a copy of the Water <br />Ilse Permit for dust supression to the Division upon <br />i:eceipt of this permit. <br />2.04.10 Vegetation Information <br />(1) The vegetation map, Figure 1F of the April 14, 1981 <br />application, is Wyoming Fuel Company's interpretation <br />of the vegetative structure within the permit area. <br />The regulations state: "The delineation of plant <br />communities shall be on the basis of the visually <br />dominant perennial species." The two visually domin- <br />ant plant communities are Alkali sagebrush and Big <br />sagebrush. Further delineation of small vegetative <br />inclusions would not add significant information to <br />the objectives of the vegetation study. <br />Further vegetation information regarding AVF and <br />wildlife habitat can be found in their respective <br />sections in the application, and comments contained <br />herein. <br />(2) In reference to the requirement of shrub production, <br />Wyoming Fuel Company contacted the Division prior to <br />1980 data collection and at that time shrub pro- <br />duction was not a requirement. The current regula- <br />tions specify only herbaceous production for eval- <br />uation of revegetation success. Therefore, tVyoming <br />Fuel Company will not be supplying shrub production <br />data. <br />2.04 Minimum F2equireme~its for Information on Environmental Resources <br />
